Shop, Laugh, Fall in Love

One of my visions for this new shop was to create a Home Decor Sanctuary, where product offerings would inspire patrons to create a sanctuary in their own home space. 

As I move through my life, I increasingly believe that home is the backdrop of our lives and has an impact on our mood and well-being. I hope as you wander through the shop, you will be inspired to design a special curated space in your home, that is meaningful for your soul, where you can recharge and be nurtured. 

I have a specially curated space in a corner of the family room, named The Florida Room, in honor of my grandmother Myrtle and my Southern heritage. The room is decorated to celebrate all things Southern—family photos and objects from Florida that inspire warm and lasting memories. I have the most comfortable reading chair, a few pictures that capture my most treasured memories of my life, a lotion candle for a transporting scent and a touch of fire to warm the space, and a series of rotating objects: a good mystery book, a deck of mindfulness cards (I have many depending on my mood!) or a new found object that sparks my fancy. Before I venture out into the world, I begin each morning sipping a cup of tea in that corner. It helps me to begin my day with a burst of inspiration. Though some days the bursts of inspiration vary, the ritual of starting my day in this fashion has become key to viewing my cup as half full. It is with that in mind that I have selected the products for Myrtle’s and continue to search for other unique products that I hope will help you celebrate your space and spark joy in being within your own special sanctuary: your home!
